E. Singer
E. Singer is a voracious reader, dedicated mother and wife, and now author. Using her mother’s word processor, E began writing short fantasy stories in middle grade saving them to floppy disks that are now lost to time. Growing up as a military child, she found comfort in books and writing escaping to fantastical worlds, creating relationships that span centuries, and forming alliances with unlikely heroes.
Though drawn to fantasy, E’s methodical brain schematics led her to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and criminal justice. Her primary focus was on biopsychology and how the human body’s internal mechanism influence brain activity translating to behavior. While in pursuit of her degree, E analyzed and wrote several academic case studies on serial killer behavior examining possible underlying biological causes.
E is an avid traveler and has visited over 15 different countries. While traveling the world, she attended haunted and historical tours of death and serial killer attractions in nearly every country she visited. She drew inspiration from the horrifying tails and her obsession with serial killer motivation and behavior created the perfect premise for her upcoming series.
In writing her current series, E had to use her academic research skills and creative mind to combine real world elements and historical perspectives with imagination to formulate a new perspective in the realm of vampirism and witchcraft. Her research led to personal exploration and introspection awakening a spiritual connection to paganism.
As a military wife, she was never able to fully pursue a career of her own, instead dabbling in various careers from substance abuse counselor, communications officer, and middle school special education teacher. Now settled in her home in North Carolina, E has decided to pursue a career as an author taking inspiration from the haunting stories she’s heard around the world and her interest in horror, fantasy, and the darkness that lives hidden inside of people.
